“ I fell in the love with the fresh fruits and vegetables here. I just love how everything is so neat and organized. Made grocery shopping a lot better. A variety of items in this H mart, I just wish the location was a little bigger because it's hard to really get through the isles due to the high volume of people shopping. The prices are good and the staff is pretty friendly. The parking lot is a mad house but once you get past that you'll be fine. lol ”
“ I finally decided to make H Mart for HotPot night at the house. I really didn't know it existed but thanks to TikTok, I was able to find one! Everything you need is here and the varieties are endless, fresh fruit, veggies and beautiful meat selection. I love that there is a fresh seafood market, note to return. I tried to go early but it was already packed but no chaos. I guess I found my store for all my hotpot needs! ”
“ I've been to many H Marts. This one is an old one and not as large as some others. However, it is clean and very well stocked. They have all your usual items but also have a decent selection of fresh fish and other seafood. You can buy sashimi grade fish that is very fresh for a decent price. There is also a excellent selection of pre-made food as well as a small restaurant and eating area. The downside is the parking lot which is small and busy with cars pulling in and out from a tightly packed lot. But there is always a space to park. You just have to be patient with the parking situation. ”
“ This market is great! As a SoCal gal, it is so great to find authentic Korean, Latin American, and Japanese groceries in one convenient location. Stopped by the lunch counter behind the banchan and had a great quick lunch of spicy tofu soup (sundubu). If you get a chance, swing by and grab a bite. Staves off the hunger and helps ensure you don't shop too much on an empty stomach. ”
“ This place was great. You can't find somewhere with this extensive of a selection in downtown DC. I went to the prepared food section to order lunch. My friend got the soondubu jigae that tasted delicious. It felt like something your mom would make homemade. I got the kimchi jigae that was very spicy and very good. Next time I really want to try the bulgogi deupbap. The market itself has a huge selection of items from produce, meats, and seafoods. The meats section was my favorite. You can't find the cuts they have most places. And then of course all the snacks. ”
“ Pro: variety of food to buy, has a bakery inside, big parking space, next to other stores. Con: terrible main exit. This store is a good place to buy ingredients for any Asian food but they don't tend to have everything you might need. There is a bakery in the inside that we order a slice of red lever cake which was delicious but a bit pricey. The biggest con is the main exit because at the stop sign and if you need to turn left to get into Georgia Ave there are cars park on both side of the road that block your view of oncoming car which make it dangerous! ”
“ I brought my pal. She couldn't believe how cheap the produce was. I agree but some things are not. The pink strawberries (as they call them) are $7.99! At Aldi, where I went afterwards they were $4.99 ( and called pine berries). I almost bought the golden berries, but ALDI has them too. Alas, not at my location. I will have to come back for those. (I call them physalis or ground cherries). ”
